Doctor Michael Mosley has urged people to get rid of certain fruits in their diet if they are trying to lose weight.
The leading health guru, famed for his Fast 800 and 5:2 diets, has expressed love for intermittent fasting and the Mediterranean diet. Michael also noted that one key part of his best advice is following a low-calorie, high protein and low sugar diet, reports the Express.

Michael noted: "Your waist should measure no more than half your height. Too much belly fat leads to increased risk of certain cancers, heart disease and Type 2 diabetes."
The guru suggested that banning fruits like pineapple, melon and mango would be better for your health, and adding berries into your diet instead.
Michael also said that people should be upping their protein intake, consuming foods such as oily fish, prawns, chicken and turkey.
For those who don't eat meat, beans - in particular, edamame beans - seeds, nuts and dairy can provide a good amount of protein into your diet as well.
People who are looking to lose weight should be consuming plenty of healthy vegetables too, and the more colourful and varied the better.
If you crave chocolate and ice cream, then snacking on dark chocolate in small amounts is better for you as well. Snacking should be avoided in general, but those who require a little pick me up should be looking at products like nuts, seeds or non-starchy vegetables.
While these tips are amazing for those losing weight, rapid weight loss is not easy for anyone, and Michael notes that the most important thing to remember is to remain accountable.
