Joe Otterson TV Reporter With the strikes that shut down Hollywood over, NBC is setting midseason premiere dates for much of its scripted lineup. The Dick Wolf universe of shows — “Chicago Med,” Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.,” “Law & Order,” “Law & Order: SVU” and “Law & Order: Organized Crime” — are all poised to return. New episodes of the “One Chicago” shows will debut Wednesday, Jan.
17. “Chicago Med” will lead off at 8 p.m. ET, followed by “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.” The following night on Thursday, Jan.
18, “Law & Order” starts things off at 8 p.m., followed by the 25th season premiere of “Law & Order: SVU” and concluding with “Law & Order: Organized Crime.” In addition, NBC has confirmed that the third season of the drama series “La Brea” will be the show’s last. It was renewed for a third season back in January, with reports surfacing soon after that the show would conclude with its third outing. Season 3 of “La Brea” will debut Jan.
9 at 9 p.m. ahead of the the final two episodes of the first season of “Found.” First up, however, the new NBC multi-cam comedy “Extended Family” will premiere on Dec. 23 at 8 p.m.

Naman Ramachandran Netflix has acquired Indonesian filmmaker Yosep Anggi Noen’s festival favorite film “24 Hours with Gaspar.” Adapted from a detective novel of the same title that was published in 2017 by Sabda Armandio, “24 Hours with Gaspar” follows the life of private detective Gaspar, who has only 24 hours to live. He discovers clues leading to the mysterious disappearance of Kirana, a childhood friend, and later to Wan Ali, who’s involved in a human trafficking syndicate.

Élodie Yung starrer “The Cleaning Lady” (now in Season 3) and the sophomore season of police procedural “Alert: Missing Persons Unit” officially return on Tuesday, March 5.

BreAnna Bell After the historically long dual WGA and SAG-Aftra strikes came to a resolution, ABC announced the return of scripted series with its midseason premiere schedule, revealing premiere dates officially set for new seasons of “Abbott Elementary,” “The Conners” and “9-1-1” among other popular titles. “Abbott Elementary” is scheduled to make its Season 3 premiere with an hour-long special debut episode on Feb. 7.
