Nick Vivarelli International Correspondent Netflix has set a March 6 premiere date for “Supersex,” the series freely inspired by the real life of global porn star Rocco Siffredi, who has more than 1,500 hardcore films to his name. The series is created and written by prominent Italian screenwriter Francesca Manieri (“We Are Who We Are,” “L’Immensità”) who is known to be a militant feminist.

Called “Don’t Tell Anyone,” Pokimane independently developed the weekly show, which she is producing alongside producer and brand strategist Abigail Lowenthal. “The best stories always start with ‘don’t tell anyone…’ and Pokimane’s finally ready to share her hottest takes and most embarrassing secrets,” according to the podcast’s description.

Naman Ramachandran A first trailer has been unveiled for feature directing debutant Shuchi Talati‘s “Girls Will Be Girls,” world premiering at Sundance’s world cinema dramatic competition. The film is set in an elite boarding school in a small Himalayan hill town in northern India and follows the story of Mira, a 16-year-old girl whose sexy, rebellious awakening is hijacked by her mother who never got to come-of-age. Malayalam cinema actor Kani Kusruti (“Pada”) is playing one of the leads.

Margot Robbie revealed Tuesday that one of the producers for the film “Oppenheimer” once tried to convince her to push the release date of ‘Barbie” back. “One of your producers, Chuck Roven, called me, because we worked together on some other projects. And he was like, ‘I think you guys should move your date,’ ” Robbie, 33, told Cillian Murphy during their chat on Variety’s Actors on Actors.

Valerie Wu Intern Paramount+ original series “Sexy Beast” has announced a premiere date of Jan. 25, 2024 and released first-look photos. The eight-episode UK series serves as a prequel to the 2000 crime thriller film “Sexy Beast.” It traces the relationship between best friends and thieves Gal Dove (James McArdle) and Don Logan (Emun Elliott), who together become involved in London’s criminal world during the 1990s.

Paramount+ has slotted Thursday, February 8, 2024 for the Season 2 premiere of Halo, based on the widely popular and long-running Xbox game franchise. The streamer also unveiled the first-look teaser trailer during its panel today at CCXP in São Paolo, Brazil, with cast members Pablo Schreiber and Joseph Morgan, along with showrunner David Wiener and executive producer Kiki Wolfkill.

Prime Video has set January 19, 2024 for the premiere of Vivienne Medrano’s adult animated musical comedy series Hazbin Hotel.
