A slew of shows are scheduled to resume production today following the end of a six-month production shutdown due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Among the shows resuming shooting this week are Law & Order: SVU. “We’re back filming as we speak,” Ice-T, who portrays Detective Odafin ‘Fin’ Tutuola on the NBC crime procedural, posted Monday on Instagram. He followed with a reminder of the Season 25 premiere date on January 18.
FBI’s Missy Pereygrym posted an Instagram video Sunday, ahead of today’s on-set return. “Sobbed my little head off today” realizing she’ll be seeing less of her 3-1/2 year-old son Otis and 18-month-old daughter Mela than she has recently during the dual Hollywood strikes, but expects to “laugh my head off” when she sees her other FBI family Monday. You can see her entire video below.
As we previously reported, other shows expected to resume production this week are mothership Law & Order, FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, FBI: International, Abbott Elementary, The Rookie, Bob Hearts Abishola, Grey’s Anatomy, Tracker, Young Sheldon, The Equalizer, One Chicago, Blue Bloods, The Irrational, Quantum Leap, Pretty Little Liars, The Sandman, Apples Never Fall and Chucky.
As announced earlier today, NCIS: Hawai’i is set to return to filming on Monday, December 4.
We’ll be updating with additional posts if/when they come in.
