Coronation Street fans have been left confused by Violet Wilson's return to Weatherfield before slamming 'short memories' amid Dylan Wilson's exit. During the latest trip to the cobbles, the character returned to the street for the first time in 16 years.
Violet was last in Weatherfield in 2008 after she gave birth to her son, Dylan Wilson, with father Sean Tully. Violet then moved to London with Dylan leaving the show. She then made a one-off appearance in an episode filmed on location in London in 2011, which is the last time fans officially saw her but has often been referenced by Sean following Dylan's return to the street.
And after nearly two decades away from Weatherfield, Violet was back during scenes aired on Wednesday night (March 20) - and she wasn't happy. Her appearance came just after Dylan pleaded guilty in court to concealing the zombie knife used to threaten Liam Connor Jr during a horrific bullying campaign led by Mason Radcliffe.
