Coronation Street fans have been rushing to respond after Roy Cropper was seen being arrested over the disappearance of Lauren Bolton - which has since turned into a murder probe.
As viewers of the ITV soap know, the teen, played by Cait Fitton, hasn't been seen for weeks as she seemingly abruptly left the cobbles after mentioning leaving to Roy Cropper when he sacked her from the café. Later, a mystery visitor appeared at her door on Valentine's Day and concern was written all over her face as her heart appeared to sink over who was standing in front of her.
But viewers were never told who the visitor was. Later, Lauren's love interest Bobby found her flat unlocked, with Lauren nowhere to be seen and has been doing his own investigation into her disappearance after he filed a report with the police.

Then, in dramatic scenes during Friday night's (March 15) trip to the cobbles, café owner Roy was visited by DS Swain just as Suki from the Weatherfield Gazette showed up to record another appeal. But it wasn't long before the beloved character was bundled into the back of her police car for questioning - with he moment captures on camera by Suki.
Over at the police station, Roy soon found himself being quizzed over the crime, with DS Swain keen to discover
