Coronation Street fans say 'no way' as they make prediction over Tracy Barlow's future after exit

Coronation Street fans have been having their say over Tracy Barlow's exit - 47 years after she first appeared in Weatherfield. Tracy was born on-screen in an episode of the ITV soap in January 1977.
She was previously played by Christabel Finch until late 1983, then Holly Chamarette took on the character from mid 1985 to 1988 and Dawn Acton followed in the 90s. It wasn't until 2002 that the current actress Kate Ford picked up the role of the divisive character.
The actress, from Salford, remained in the role ever since and in those 20 years has faced a whole host of storylines from killing her ex Charlie Stubbs in cold blood to drugging Roy Cropper and faking they had slept together before finding out she was pregnant after her one-night-stand with Steve McDonald.

But during the unusual Tuesday night (April 2) trip to the cobbles, Tracy said her goodbyes to her family and left the street. As viewers of the long-running show know, Tracy recently ended her marriage with Steve after her affair with Tommy Orpington was revealed.
Earlier this week, Tracy got back together with Steve, saying she felt they could make things work, but had earlier admitted to daughter Amy Barlow that she hated being alone after Tommy executed his move to Spain. But unbeknownst to her, Tommy had written to Tracy to ask her to move with him - only for Steve to intercept the mail and burn the letter.
She then decided that things were, again, over with Steve and fans were surprised to see Tracy heading off in a taxi with plans to reunite in Europe with lover Tommy.
