BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden ditches UK with co-star after debuting gorgeous transformation

Amy Dowden has been seen ditching the UK for sunnier climes after wowing her fans and followers with a transformation. Over the weekend the Strictly Come Dancing star showed off her new gorgeous blonde hair just weeks after finding out there was no evidence of cancer left in her body.
Amy was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in May last year. The dancer shared the personal news after undergoing a mastectomy before later documenting going through eight rounds of chemotherapy. She faced multiple complications before ringing the bell to signal the end of her treatment in November.
Then last month, the Welsh star revealed that there was now 'no evidence of disease' and that it was 'time to look ahead'. She said she will not receive the "all clear" for five years due to her type of cancer, and that during that time she will continue to receive monthly injections and regular check-ups.

But as she continues her recovery, Amy has shared how her hair is slowly starting to grow back following her gruelling treatment and she's making the most of it by experimenting with something new.
The 33-year-old took to her Instagram Story on Sunday (March 10) to show off her adorable new pixie cut in a short clip. Amy smiled and moved her head around in the video for her 660,000 followers to see, as she penned: "Just a bit of fun." She then shared a selfie with her friend who she said "was responsible" for the blonde makeover.
