Pregnant BBC Strictly Come Dancing star Fleur East pays emotional tribute after baby update

Fleur East has paid an emotional tribute as she prepares to welcome her first child into the world. The Strictly Come Dancing star took to social media to mark the anniversary of the heartbreaking death of her dad.
When taking part in the BBC One dance contest, alongside professional dance partner Vito Coppola, Fleur danced in memory of Malcolm East after agreeing to take part in his 'favourite show'. Malcolm tragically died after suffering a heart attack in 2020, leaving the Strictly star heartbroken.
When she signed up for Strictly in 2022, Fleur emotionally explained: "I’m just going to be doing it for him. I’m gutted he can’t see me do it, but I’m going to keep him in mind when I’m doing the show."

Now, taking to social media over the weekend, Fleur paid tribute to her late dad as she marked four years since his death. Sharing a picture of the pair when she was a toddler, she wrote on her Instagram Story: "4 years today without my Daddy darling. I miss him so, so much today more than ever! Always imagining what he would be saying to me at this stage of my life..."
The singer, present and radio host continued alongside more sweet childhood snaps: "He was just the best!!! We have the most amazing memories." Sharing a photo of the pair before his death, Fleur added: "Love you forever Daddio. Can't wait to tell your grandchildren all about you."
It comes after Fleur delighted her fans and followers when she revealed she was pregnant on New Year's Day. Fleur. who hosts Strictly spin-off It Takes Two after making it to the final of the BBC One
