BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Gorka Marquez teases 'lots of plans' for life after show in update

Gorka Marquez has told fans he has 'lots of plans' as he was asked about life without Strictly Come Dancing. But before fans worry he's leaving, he did continue his response with good news.
The Spanish dancer is often rumoured to be quitting the BBC One dance contest with the claims leaving fans of the show gutted. However, Gorka appears to have assured those who like him on the show that he will be back - if he's asked to be part of the professional line-up in 2024.
Gorka, 33, joined Strictly in 2016 and has been a huge hit on the series ever since. He has been partnered with multiple well-known celebs over the years such as Alexandra Burke, Maisie Smith, Katie Piper and Helen Skelton and the show is also where he met now-fiancee Gemma Atkinson.

While taking part in a new Q&A on Instagram on Friday (March 1), Gorka was asked: "What do you see yourself doing after Strictly? I never want you to leave btw!" Gorka replied by saying: "Lots of things planned! But I want to do them at the same time! I don't want to leave the BEST SHOW on TV."
It comes after a previous Q&A saw him asked if he's switch roles on the UK show after being signed up as a judge on the Spanish version - Bailando con las Estrellas - of Strictly which he has been going back and forth to Madird to film.
During the previous question and answer session, one fan asked: "If you were offered a judging role on strictly would you take over dancing?" He hinted that he might, but said he had not been asked as he responded: "First need to be asked. Then I answer it," adding two crying
