A woman has appeared in court accused of murder as a provisional trial date has been set.
Morsal Mohammed Naim appeared at Manchester Crown Court this morning (February 29) via videolink from HMP Styal, near Wilmslow.
The 30-year-old has been charged with the murder of Omra Wali Jan, who is described in court documents as being 'one year of age or older'. The charge relates to an incident in Manchester on February 9 this year.

At a preliminary hearing today, prosecutor Alexander Leach and defence counsel Jane Greenhalgh discussed administrative matters in relation to the case. No further details in relation to the case were discussed in open court and no plea was entered.
A trial date has been set for October 2 2024, which is estimated to last between five and six weeks.
