A contestant on the ITV quizzing show, The Chase, left viewers - and the show's presenter, Bradley Walsh - in hysterics during a recent episode. For those who missed the episode, Bradley was forced to have a word with 29 year Reece after he made a cheeky comment about one of the questions.
To recap, the London based writer and performer was up against veteran chaser, Paul Sinha, aka The Sinnerman, at the time of the incident.
But as well as answering questions, he also left his fellow teammates - Nesta, David, and Andrea - in stitches as Bradley asked him: "In ceramics, what is a finial?" For some context, the available answer choices were: A) ornate spout, B) relief panel, or C) decorative knob. After Bradley put the question to Reece, he stole the entire show when he selected the latter choice as his final answer.
For after making his decision, he then made the cheeky comment that caused Bradley to intervene. Which was that he "knew a lot about decorative knobs." Of course, this euphemism caused the studio audience, Bradley, and the rest of The Chase team to burst into fits of laughter.
However, Reece wasn't finished making those present laugh, as he then added that while he had "no idea" whether the answer was right, if he was to go home, he'd "like it to be on a decorative knob." Again, Bradley - and also Paul - were caught on camera clearly trying to hold in their laughter, which was when the host had to give Reece a tongue in cheek telling off. Taking him aside and lowering his voice, Bradley teased: "Don't come on here ruining my show." Moments like these have turned The Chase into what it is today, which is why plenty of viewers headed to Twitter to share their collective amusement.
