Gladiators viewers were left gobsmacked and were asking 'how' after the popular TV programme returned on Saturday (February 10). The iconic 90s' gameshow was given a reboot and made its comeback for the first time on the BBC in January.
The 11-episode series sees a new generation of Gladiators pit themselves against the public - from an Elite CrossFit athlete from Manchester to a James Bond actor and two Olympians. Each episode sees the Gladiators take on different contenders in a range of new and old games, ending with the classic challenge, The Eliminator.
The new series is hosted by Bradley Walsh and his son Barney. On Saturday, the male contestants included Dev from Essex and Paul from Sheffield. The pair took on the Gladiators in various challenges including Collision, The Ring and The Edge.

Paul impressed viewers by winning four points in the first two rounds, taking the lead as Dev gained just two points. But it wasn't just his skills that got fans talking, as it was Paul's age which came as a shock to viewers.
