Pep Guardiola has dismissed concerns over Josko Gvardiol's pricetag and insists he will be fantastic value for money.

Guardiola outlined the key qualities he will bring to City, including his physicality and in-possession quality. Whilst admitting City had paid a lot of money, he's convinced the defender's age and quality will make him a good signing.
"First of all, he's a central defender left, that's not easy," Guardiola told ITV Sport. "His physical condition is really, really good and his build-up with his left foot is also really, really good.

"He is 21 years old so when you buy, of course, it's a lot of money, but when you are 21 years old, it is not a problem. He will be with us for the future and that's what we think.
"We are trying to improve the team for the next seasons, not just this season, for the future."
Roy Keane believes Guardiola will continue his preference of using four centre-backs, with Gvardiol capable of playing at left-centre-back or left-back. He praised the City boss' tactical change which inspired them to the treble.
"I think when City started poorly last season, they were giving away soft goals," Keane said. "He had a change of mindset and that is what brilliant coaches do.
"He started playing a back four that were out-and-out defenders and went back to basics. As good as they are going forward, they needed to stop giving up silly goals.
