Roy Keane was known as a fearsome competitor during his playing days.
The former Manchester United captain's many, many, feuds have been well documented. His on-pitch tussles with the likes of Patrick Vieira and Alf Inge Haaland are infamous, while Mick McCarthy and Peter Schmeichel were just a couple who caught his sharp tongue in the dressing room.
Another former teammate who Keane didn't ever quite see eye-to-eye with was Andy Goram. The former Scotland international was rushed through the door at Old Trafford following an injury crisis, with Fabien Barthez and Raimond van der Gouw both forced onto the treatment table.

Despite being 37 at the time, United needed someone and Goram fit the bill so Fergie brought him in on loan from Motherwell. But upon his arrival, Goram found it difficult to break the ice with the notoriously fiery Keane.
"We just never spoke. We had nothing in common. His beliefs and my beliefs are a mile apart," Goram said about Keane on the Anything Goes podcast back in 2019. "I met all the players in the dressing room, Steve McClaren took me around. I knew most of them, the Nevilles and all that, I played cricket with their dad.
"And it came to Roy Keane and you know, you shake hands. He just looked at me and I went, ‘There’s no point is there?’ And he went, ‘no’. And we never spoke for three months."
Goram went into further detail about their first meeting in his autobiography. He wrote: "Shark’s eyes. Dead, devoid of emotion, glaring at me. No handshake.
