Meticulous research from a prominent paranormal researcher has revealed the most haunted postcodes across Greater Manchester.
Dr Paul Lee has spent almost a decade researching thousands of haunting reports across the country. His research examined all kinds of paranormal encounters such as unexplained footsteps and glasses being thrown out of nowhere.
Overall, Dr Lee compiled 5,592 locations that are supposed to be haunted, including a handful of spots across Greater Manchester, including Manchester city centre.

One of the most shocking reports comes from the White Lady of Ordsall Hall Museum in Salford. The White Lady, who has been spotted in the Great Hall and Star Chamber, is popularly theorised to be Lady Margaret Radclyffe whose brother was killed in a battle in Ireland.
While she initially was buried in Westminster Abby, it is believed her spirit returns to her home, often when school children are in attendance. Her appeareance has been marked by the smell of roses while some have reported seeing floating candles. Speaking about the phenomena, representatives of Ordsall Hall said: "Yes, visitors and staff still regularly report strange things happening at the Hall."
They added: "Many have heard their names called before now. On one of the ghost nights a staff member saw someone though a window walking down a corridor who then never appeared. In the past before the restoration staff members would hear people walking in the attic before there was access up there."
