Manchester City may have to wait until summer 2025 to learn their fate from their 115 Premier League charges, new reports claim.
City were handed 115 charges by the Premier League earlier this year for alleged breaches of their financial rules. The case will be heard by an independent commission, which could carry carry significant punishments if proven. The club have always insited their innocence, and welcomed an impartial review where they can defend themselves.
Earlier in November, Everton were given a 10 point deduction for a separate financial rule breach, and now a report suggests City's case may not come before the Independent Commission for another 12 months.

The Daily Mail report that City's 'trial', or hearing, has initially been scheduled for Autumn 2024. With the sheer amount of evidence set to be heard, and then ruled over, the report says any verdict on the charges would not come until Summer 2025 at the earliest.
In their annual financial report earlier this month, City referenced the charges by saying: "On 6 February 2023, in accordance with Premier League Rule W.82.1, the Premier League referred a number of alleged breaches of the Premier League Rules by Manchester City Football Club to a Commission under Premier League Rule W.3.4.
"In February 2023, in response to the charges, the Club issued a public statement that it welcomes the review of this matter by an independent Commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position."
