Tom Brady was "blown away" after his visit to the Etihad Stadium and promptly asked how Birmingham City can replicate what treble-winners Manchester City have at their disposal.
The former NFL superstar, 46, became a minority investor at Birmingham in August and was invited to visit City's home during a recent trip to the UK. Brady was given a tour of the club's 53,000-seater stadium, training facilities and academy set-up that are all situated within the same site.
His visit was organised by City's former CEO Garry Cook, now chief executive for the Championship side, who are managed by ex-Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney. Brady also took in the all-action Premier League draw between City and Tottenham, which finished 3-3 at the Etihad Stadium on December 3.

Seven-time Super Bowl winner Brady was said to be enthralled by his trip to the Etihad Stadium and that left him asking several questions to Cook upon his return. The American became a minority investor at St. Andrew's shortly after the Tom Wagner-led takeover and is chairman of the club's advisory board.
Cook told BirminghamLive: "We went to see another Premier League football club and look at all their facilities. It was one I was involved in previously and they have built an academy and training centre, which is attached to the stadium, which is absolutely magnificent and Tom Brady was blown away."
Cook, who served as City's CEO between 2008 and 2011, added: "His first question was; 'How do we get this? How do we make this happen'?
"And his questions during the game; 'How do we get better? What are the challenges we face'?"
