Manchester City may well have to wait until late 2024 before they can expect to hear anything about the Premier League's allegations in court.
City have been accused of breaking 115 financial rules and regulations set by the Premier League with reports on Thursday suggesting the club are set for a court trial over the allegations. However, their fate will not be sealed in the near future.
The MEN has made a brief breakdown of this ongoing saga's timeline. The future is hazy but some estimations have been made, with the Daily Mail reporting on Thursday that a court date 'has been set', with City potentially having to wait until the summer of 2025 to learn their fate.

City were initially charged for the alleged rule breakages. The Premier League said that the English champions had failed to give "a true and fair view of the club’s financial position".
This attack was immediately rebuffed by City. When the charges were announced back in February, the club said in an official statement: “Manchester City FC is surprised by the issuing of these alleged breaches of the Premier League rules, particularly given the extensive engagement and vast amount of detailed materials that the EPL has been provided with.
“The club welcomes the review of this matter by an independent commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position. As such, we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all.”
