Though City were two places better off after 16 games last season, they were seven points shy of the summit, meaning they are closer to the top of the table at the same stage this season, though they are currently fourth. And with that in mind, Sherwood believes Pep Guardiola's side have the credentials to retain their crown and win a fourth title in a row.
