Coronation Street fans reckon a major character will be making a return to the cobbles this year. Many have predicted that killer Rob Donovan could be back on our screens soon.
Rob joined the soap in 2012 and fast became a favourite among viewers, looking for his sister Carla Connor (Alison King). But two years later he killed Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) after getting engaged to Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford).
He dramatically pushed Tina from a balcony and beat her to death with a lead pipe. After being imprisoned, he returned to the ITV soap a few times but made his last official appearance in 2017. Recently, Rob's estranged son Bobby (Jack Carroll) arrived at the cobbles to stay with his aunty Carla.

Bobby was kicked out by his mum and needed a place to stay. In the latest episode, he found out the truth about his dad. Monday night (February 12) saw residents Rita Tanner and Mary Taylor surprised to learn that Bobby is Roy's son. Wanting to know more about his dad, he asked his aunty Carla to tell him everything.
Bobby was shocked when he found out his dad killed Tina on purpose. Rob had told him it was to protect himself. Now, viewers reckon Rob could be returning. Many took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their suspicions.
