Kate Garraway accidentally shared a confidential chat between her and co-host Rob Rinder on Good Morning Britain, as she revealed his fear of rabbits.
The duo hosted GMB together on Friday, 29 March as they discussed Easter and the banning of selling rabbits during the holiday. Kate, 56, revealed that live bunnies would be appearing on the ITV show later and told viewers that Rob, 45, best known as Judge Rinder, has a "pathological fear" of the animals. He admitted he was hoping to "style it out" and "be calm" before Kate publicly shared his fear.
"I've found out that Rob has a slightly pathological fear, don't you? Which is an unfortunate moment to discover this. What are you scared of?" Kate asked her co-star. Laughing, Rob said: "We'll find out when the rabbits here." Kate then quipped: "There won't be any cruelty to bunnies on this show, but there might be cruelty to Robs." "I was trying to be calm, I was going to style it out!" Rob then admitted, with Kate proceeding to apologise her her huge blunder.
She added: "Sorry, was that a confidential presenter-to-presenter moment? That I just shared with the nation. I'm so sorry!" The Good Morning Britain hosts tried to hold in their laughter as Kate realised what she'd done. She quickly handed over to a fellow news presenter to continue with the day's reports.
It comes after Kate's third documentary about her late husband Derek Draper's health battles aired on ITV. She had to endure seeing her husband's health decline alarmingly over four years, after he caught COVID-19 in March 2020. Former political advisor Derek Draper needed non-stop care from health professionals and the support of a carer named Jake, who he was close with before his heart-breaking death on January 3,
