Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has sent a clear message to Manchester United after sealing the bragging rights in the derby.
While it ended up being City and Haaland's day, for much of the first half it looked like the Blues could slip up. Marcus Rashford gave the visitors the lead on eight minutes with a fierce strike which clattered in off the underside of the crossbar.
The Norwegian should have brought his team level shortly before the break when he was just a couple of yards out but he somehow managed to sky the ball over. Following the interval, Haaland's miss was rectified by Phil Foden whose excellent strike flew past Andre Onana.

With ten minutes remaining, Foden bagged his brace with a smart finish inside the area which Onana could not prevent. Into stoppage time, the points were sealed as Sofyan Amrabat was dispossessed by Rodri allowing Haaland to avenge his previous miss and seal the points.
As the City fans performed the Poznan, Haaland copied them on the pitch and shared a photo capturing the moment on social media at full-time. Captioning the post, the 23-year-old simply wrote: "Manchester is BLUE."
