Keane criticised the lack of intensity in United's defending, highlighting Marcus Rashford after Jarell Quansah run past him for the equaliser on the stroke of half-time.
"It was coming, it's been the biggest worry for United this season - they've been so open," the former United midfielder began. "They need someone to sit, it's called game-management, Liverpool were getting stronger but United have got to get someone in behind there, protect the back four.
"To give up the chances, they've got players back here (Mac Allister equaliser) but the intensity from the attacker, Rashford my God, you're talking about an FA Cup quarter-final - get to people.
"For Liverpool, it's way too simple get out to him but before that, not enough aggression, it's no good having the numbers back if they're not aggressive, you've got to be aggressive.
"This is injury time (Salah 2-1), go in at 1-1, game-management if you're on the ropes you can come out in the second-half. Liverpool haven't been that great
