It was a bit more dramatic for Manchester United who needed to come from behind twice to secure a memorable 4-3 extra-time win over fierce rivals Liverpool. Amad was the hero, scoring in the first minute of added time in extra time to complete the turnaround.

That winner came after Marcus Rashford had drawn United level just eight minutes earlier. Scott McTominay and Antony were also on the scoresheet for Erik ten Hag’s side.
The semi-final draw was completed just after United’s win with the Red Devils taking on Championship side Coventry City. City meanwhile will face Chelsea in the other semi-final. It means there could be a repeat of last year’s final, where City came out as 2-1 winners.
