Linda Carter is set to make a shocking confession in EastEnders, as she confides in Alfie Moon while intoxicated. The Queen Vic landlady has continued to struggle after killing Keanu Taylor on Christmas Day while defending best pal Sharon Watts.
The Six - Linda, Sharon, Denise Fox, Stacey Slater and Kathy Beale - then buried Keanu's body under the burnt out cafe and swore to keep the events of Christmas Day a secret. However, Linda has been struggling to come to terms with what she did and as a result has turned back to drinking.
Her close pal Alfie has been keeping an eye on her and attempting to support her, despite his own worries with his prostate cancer battle. In upcoming episodes, Linda is left shaken when Ricky Butcher sends a photograph of Mick Carter and Janine Butcher’s baby, who Janine gave birth to during her current prison stint. Linda seeks comfort in alcohol and Alfie later finds her inconsolable in The Albert and takes her home.
During a heart-to-heart, drunken Linda opens up to him, and it looks like she says more than she should have. The following day, Alfie texts Linda asking to speak about what she told him the night before, leaving her fearing she confessed all about Keanu's death to her friend. She heads off to meet Alfie and drinks beforehand to calm her nerves.
During their conversation, Linda twists the truth to stop Alfie from being suspicious, but it remains to be seen if he believes her. The Six have all continued to struggle following the events of Christmas Day, which saw Keanu lose his life and Nish Panesar wind up in a coma after being hit over the head by Denise.
