Ever since Nish Panesar arrived in EastEnders back in September 2022, the Walford bad boy has made a name for himself in Albert Square as a no nonsense businessman with a brutal and often sinister side to him. For months, Nish emotionally abused his wife Suki Panesar and even attempted to kill her lover Eve Unwin after he rumbled the illicit affair going on right under his nose, however after the explosive events of Christmas Day it initially looked as though his luck was starting to run out.
During a special episode that aired over the festive season, Suki finally plucked up the courage to tell Nish she was leaving, something he refused to accept, even going so far as trying to drag her home with him. In the scuffle, which took place in the pub and saw him brutally lash out at his wife, he was soon smacked over the head by Denise Fox with a wine bottle in a bid to save her friend, something which saw him require a lengthy hospital stay after nearly costing him his life.
Luckily for Nish, he didn’t die as a result of the attack, (unlike Keanu Taylor, who also happened to be present that night) but since his release from hospital, it appears Nish may once again have signed his own death warrant. In surprising scenes, it was revealed that Nish he had sparked up a romance with Kat Slater with the sole intention of “using her” given her beneficial connections to people in the Square, but fans are now convinced that this could be Nish’s downfall.

EastEnders favourite Chelsea Fox, portrayed by actress Zaraah Abrahams, made a welcome return to screens in recent episodes of the BBC One soap. Chelsea took centre stage as her mum Denise Fox (Diane Parish) continued to spiral in the aftermath of Keanu Taylor's murder. Fans were pleased to see Chelsea back on their TV screens after the character had been in the background for many months.
EastEnders fans are convinced they've worked out which character reported Denise Fox to the hospital amid her mental health battle after Thursday evening's explosive episode. Jack found his wife wandering through the woods and she begged him to protect her from the devil - who she claimed was Johnny Carter who wants to kill her - but she was later carted off to hospital.

EastEnders fans are convinced they've figured out Lucas' sneaky plan for Denise Fox as Pastor Clayton's real identity was 'rumbled' by fans on social media. Viewers of the BBC soap are sure that Pastor Clayton and Lucas Johnson have a secret connection, and they're worried about what this could mean for struggling Denise. Fans also suspect that Lucas has a hidden agenda against Denise, and he might use her recent confession to his advantage to secure an early release from prison. The villain made a surprising return to EastEnders in Tuesday's episode (20 February) after Denise decided to visit her killer ex-boyfriend.

It was confirmed last year that actor Max Bowden, who has played Ben since 2019, will be leaving EastEnders in 2024. Soap fans think recent episodes have started to point towards Ben's departure, with many certain it will involve the character heading to prison.
EastEnders fans were given a startling blast from the past during Tuesday’s (20 February) visit to Albert Square, as Denise Fox sought out advice from serial killer Lucas Johnson to help try and cope with the guilt of having been complicit to Keanu Taylor’s death. As regular viewers will know, Keanu was fatally stabbed to death on Christmas Day by Linda Carter as she tried to stop him from strangling her friend Sharon Watts, but rather than come clean about the crime, Linda, along with the rest of The Six decided to cover up the murder and even buried the body beneath Kathy’s cafe! But in the wake of the harrowing incident, Denise in particular has been struggling with psychosis and even hallucinations of the dead and buried Keanu - and sought advice from her former pastor Lucas who was serving time in prison for multiple murders himself! Yet while Lucas may have had a deadly streak on screen, actor Don Gilet couldn’t be further from his villainous alter-ego.

EastEnders fans were shocked as George Knight's real dad was revealed, in what they're branding the 'best episode ever'. In Tuesday's soap instalment on 13 February, George's adoptive parents, Eddie and Gloria, paid him a visit to discuss George being a character witness for Eddie, as he's been charged with racially aggravated murder. And on Wednesday, George – who's played by veteran actor Colin Salmon – had a private chat with his dad where he confessed that he recognised the man Eddie is accused of murdering.
Ever since George Knight’s parents arrived in Albert Square earlier this year, the EastEnders newcomer has found his life turned upside down as secret after secret emerged regarding his identity. For all of his life George had known he was adopted by a white family, but in recent weeks it had since transpired that George was actually adopted via a process called “farming” in which wealthy white families were paid to adopt black children during the 60s and 70s.
