Longtime fans of the East London-based soap will, no doubt, remember the dramatic scenes well, as Zoe, who had been raised to believe that her grandfather Charlie, was her father, and that Kat was her sister, announced in the Queen Vic that she was moving to Spain to work in her Uncle Harry's bar.

EastEnders fans were in for a treat as two beloved characters, Chatham and Riley Taylor, made a surprise return to Walford after being away for three years. The young brothers, who are the sons of Karen Taylor (played by Lorraine Stanley) and half-brothers to Keanu Taylor (portrayed by Danny Walters), had been sent to live with their dad during lockdown in 2020.The boys, both living with Neurofibromatosis, hadn't been seen since then but returned to celebrate their mum's birthday. In Monday's episode, Mitch Baker (played by Roger Griffiths) threw a surprise birthday party for Karen at The Queen Vic, inviting all their family, including his daughter Bailey Baker (Kara-Leah Fernandes), and grandchildren Mackenzie (Isaac Lemonius) and Mia Atkins (Mahalia Malcolm).
