With just weeks left to go until Strictly Come Dancing returns to our screens, the sixth star hoping to scoop the glitter ball trophy has been revealed to be Angela Scanlon Speaking on Radio Two, where it was announced that she would be appearing on the show, Angela said: "It's been kind of in the ether for a number of years and we've been close. "But we wanted to have another baby so then we were trying to have a baby, and then I was then pregnant, then I had a very small child, and now it just felt right this year.
"I believe in feelings and timing and all of those sorts of things. I'm not particularly fit and I don't know how my pelvic floor is going to react to that level of jumping" Sharing the announcement, she quipped: "I’m terrified, I’m excited and I have so many questions.
Will they make me tan? How itchy are sequins?! "Do they do flesh coloured sports bras? Well - there’s only one way to find out, right!? Now I’m panicking a bit… but also secretly thrilled about the prospect of all that glitter. Let’s go!" Angela is an Irish Television presenter for the BBC and RTÉ.
