Strictly Come Dancing's Layton Williams breaks silence after being hit with 'fix' claims

Strictly Come Dancing's newest star Layton Williams has finally broken his silence after his involvement in the upcoming series was hit with fix complaints.
The Bad Education actor was among the 15 famous faces named in the line-up for the 2023 run of the hit BBC One dance contest which is set to return to screens next month, joining the likes of Angela Rippon, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Zara McDermott. Adam Thomas and Les Dennis.
Speaking about his new gig at the time of his reveal, the 28-year-old, from Bury, said: "Absolutely buzzing to confirm that I will be taking part in THE most iconic dance competition in the UK. It's time to bring it to the Ballroom. So excited to learn new skills from the best. Bring on the sequins… ALL the sequins!"

And on Friday (August 11), Layton, who is also known for playing the title role in the musical smash Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, got to meet up with his fellow dancing stars for the first time as they all met with the professional dancers in rehearsals in London.
Taking to social media on Saturday (August 12), Layton shared how he felt about his first official day in the Strictly bubble and it appeared to be a bit of a dream as he shared a blurry snap. "This is how I felt yesterday after my 1st @bbcstrictly rehearsal day," he typed.
He then added: "OMG. I already know I'm gonna have so much fun!" And while many fans were thrilled to see him start his Strictly journey at share their backing for him to go far in this year's competition, others were sceptical due to Leyton's theatre background.
