Alison Hammond says she'll be 'gutted' as she issues seven-day warning amid This Morning 'replacement'

Alison Hammond has issued a seven-day warning to her fans amid being 'replaced' as Dermot O'Leary's co-host on This Morning. The presenter has been hosting the usual Friday edition of the ITV daytime show with the former X Factor star while he has been doing a full-time stint.
Earlier this month, Dermot joined Josie Gibson at the helm before on Monday (January 22) he was joined by Sian Welby as she stepped into the main hosting role for the first time. But Alison hasn't been putting in extra shifts on the popular programme due to her other commitments.
The 48-year-old has been busy performing in her home city in Birmingham Hippodrome's pantomime production of Jack and the Beanstalk. Starring as the Spirit of the Beans, Alison has spent the last month performing to audiences alongside the likes of Matt Slack, Doreen Tipton, Samantha Womack and Andrew Ryan.

But Alison's time on stage is soon set to come to an end. Taking to Instagram on Sunday (January 21), the TV star spoke directly to the camera while elaborately dressed in character - with a feathered blue headdress stealing the show.
She said: "Hi everyone, I'm just giving you a heads up that there's only seven days left until the end of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Birmingham Hippodrome." She continued: "I'm going to be gutted when it's over because I've loved being the spirit of the bean but make sure you come and experience such a funny, entertaining and lovely panto."
