Alison Hammond has said she 'nearly cried' after spotting a familiar face in the audience as she nears the end of her 'biggest' job. The This Morning star has been busy for the past month performing in her home city in Birmingham Hippodrome's pantomime production of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Alison has starred as the Spirit of the Beans in the production, performing to audiences alongside the likes of Matt Slack, Doreen Tipton, Samantha Womack and Andrew Ryan. But Alison's time on stage is soon set to come to an end.

She said: "Hi everyone, I'm just giving you a heads up that there's only seven days left until the end of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Birmingham Hippodrome."

Alison took to Instagram to reveal that Josie Gibson had been to see the show with her son Reggie, five, and her best friend Mia Dora Williams.
