Alison Hammond has declared 'I did it' as she reaches the end of her latest job away from This Morning with Dermot O'Leary there to support her. The presenter hasn't been doing full time stints on the ITV daytime show as she has been busy for the past month performing in her home city in the pantomime production of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Alison has starred as the Spirit of the Beans in the production at Birmingham Hippodrome, performing to audiences alongside the likes of former EastEnders actress Samantha Womack. But Alison's the 48-year-old's tim on stage is set to come to an end on Sunday (January 28).
Taking to Instagram, Alison shared a photo of herself almost in full costume as she posed behind the scenes with a beaming smile across her face. "It’s been a ball!!" she started to type alongside the snap.

She continued: "@xroads_live Thanks for the opportunity to do this in my home town of Brum. I’ve loved every minute and although very hard work , I did it !!!! To all the cast and crew and front of house you truly are wonderful. The @brumhippodrome will always have a special place in my heart especially that little seat at the front."
She added early on Sunday (January 28): "Thanks to laura my physio who kept me going . Lastly thanks to everyone who came to watch the show and made us love what we do. Last two show today, let’s have it !!"
