Two men raped a drunken sobbing woman in an alleyway near PIccadilly Gardens while a third man kept look-out, a jury has heard.
The trio then fist-bumped each other after they walked away, a court was told. Their alleged victim told a jury: "I asked them repeatedly to stop."
Brian Jalo, 25, and Juan Quinones, 24, admit to having sex with the woman but say it was consensual. The pair, and their alleged look-out, Justice Tandoh, 21, deny rape.

Opening the case against the three men at Manchester Crown Court, prosecutor Robert Wynn-Jones told a jury the young woman was attacked during a weekend shopping trip to Manchester in May 2021. The three defendants 'acted together to facilitate and perpetrate the offences of rape', Mr Wynn-Jones told the jury of eight women and four men.
Mr Tandoh brought the woman to the other two men and 'acted as look-out' while they forcefully and repeatedly raped her together in an alleyway near Piccadilly Gardens in city centre Manchester, according to the prosecution.
Their alleged victim had come to Manchester for a weekend shopping trip with a female friend but when the pair were sitting on a bench outside their hotel, the Britannia, they were approached by Jalo and Quinones, the court was told. The woman accepted a 'friend request' from Mr Jalo on Instagram so the pair were able to message each other, the jurors heard.
The following day the young woman and her friend went shopping, had lunch and then went out drinking, said Mr Wynn-Jones. The woman was said to have consumed half-a-litre of vodka with 7Up.
