This Morning viewers have been quick to give their verdict as they got another new hosting duo as they tuned into the first episode of the week to see Cat Deeley and Rylan Clark. The pair fronting the show has been changing almost on a week-by-week basis following the major exits of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Scofield.
The latter announced his decision to quit This Morning back in May this year after saying rumours of a fractured relationship with Holly behind the scenes had "become the story". However, the 61-year-old resigned from ITV altogether merely a week later after admitting to an “unwise but not illegal” relationship with a younger male colleague.
Meanwhile, Holly's decision to quit was shared on October 10 in a social media statement. The 42-year-old said it had been an 'honour to just be part of its story', but said it was a call she had to make for herself and her family. In the Instagram post, she wrote: "I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning."

Now, Cat and Rylan have joined forced to keep the daytime show on air. As they kicked off the show, the pair welcomed viewers to the programme before Rylan turned his attention to his new co-host.
Cat then asked: "Can you believe they've let two of the naughtiest people on TV on live TV together," to which Rylan quipped: "Now this is officially the end, just letting you all know guys! This is how it ends, with us two."
He then added: "It is so lovely to see you, I knew you were a massive big deal all my life but today confirmed it when I walked down
