A Scots mum who grew up with hippie Buddhist parents earns up to £20k a day giving self-help tips and attributes her success to her 'free range' childhood.
Iona Russell, who lives in Edinburgh, was brought up on a farm in the Welsh countryside near Hay-on-Wye, with her family home acting as a meeting point for the local Buddhist community.
The 52-year-old says she learned vital skills that have contributed to her success as an entrepreneur and helped her build a self-help empire worth thousands, Edinburgh Live reports.

She said: “Being trusted as a child helped me to trust myself. I was encouraged to find my own way which built social skills, and good intuition which have served me well in adulthood.
“When children don’t develop this skill because they are micromanaged it can cause all kinds of issues in adulthood with poor boundaries.
"I started my coaching business in the red for the first two years. I'd invested in all the training and overheads, I didn’t start to make money until my third year.
"Then with each year my income increased, my experience and confidence grew. I went from charging £45 for an hour session in the beginning to now only working one on one with clients for a minimum of six to 12 months for £10,000 plus at a time.
"I now host retreats in Venice, Florence, Paris and I have an upcoming reset retreat coming up in Mexico for women in business. My events range from £100 for a ticket to £2555.00 for an in person retreat.
"For some events I've made £15k and I even sold one event out, making £20k in a day."
