Injuries have been constant for Newcastle United this season and six players could be absent against Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter final tie on Saturday.
The Magpies will be sweating over Anthony Gordon's fitness after he went off with a knee problem in the defeat at Chelsea on Monday. Since being assessed at the training ground at Benton on Tuesday, our colleagues at Chronicle Live have confirmed his injury is not as bad as first feared.
However, it remains to be seen whether he is declared fit to face City. In addition, Kieran Trippier will remain unavailable with a 'minor injury.' "The scan probably showed enough to probably keep him out for the next two games. Hopefully he'll be back for the first game after the international break but that's not absolutely guaranteed," boss Eddie Howe said.

Howe could also be without Harvey Barnes who was absent at Stamford Bridge with a hamstring issue. "Harvey against Wolves when he came on just felt a hamstring tightness. We've scanned the area and don't think it's bad, but it's enough to keep him out tonight and probably against Man City," he added.
Elsewhere, Joelinton and Callum Wilson are still working towards full fitness. The Brazilian has undergone surgery on a thigh injury in January and is undergoing a period of rehab, while Wilson has had an operation on a pectoral muscle.
Sandro Tonali is still suspended while Nick Pope is closing in on a return from a shoulder injury after three months out.
