Rasmus Hojlund was withdrawn in the second half of Manchester United's clash with Luton Town on Saturday afternoon after appearing to pick up a knock.
The Dane, who scored twice against FC Copenhagen in the Champions League in midweek, went down with a little over 10 minutes of normal time remaining. He was then withdrawn by manager Erik ten Hag and immediately headed straight down the tunnel following consultation with the Dutchman and United's medical staff.
As Hojlund, who joined the club from Italian outfit Atalanta for an initial £64million in the summer transfer window, headed for the tunnel, he was holding his right hamstring. He was replaced by Anthony Martial with 79 minutes on the clock.

Hojlund, for the second game running, started in the centre of United's front-three flanked by Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho. Rashford, just as he did against Copenhagen, started on the right with Garnacho on the left.
United dominated the first half, creating a collection of chances, but it took them until the 59th minute to get their noses in front. Victor Lindelof, drafted into the starting line-up to replace the absent Jonny Evans, blasted the ball home from close range after Marcus Rashford's low cross found its way into his path.
It marked the Swede's first United goal since scoring in the 6-2 rout of Leeds United in December 2020. It was an emphatic finish and one that gave the Reds nothing more than what they had deserved for their dominance.
