Winger Alejandro Garnacho has issued an apology to Manchester United's supporters following Wednesday night's pulsating 3-3 draw with Galatasaray in the Champions League at Rams Park.
Despite leading 3-1 with just over half an hour to go, United, who had found the net through Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay, were pegged back, conceding a thunderous equaliser with just under 20 minutes of regulation time left. A draw has all but ended their chances of reaching the last-16 of the competition.
United must beat group winners Bayern Munich in their final group game at Old Trafford on December 12 and hope that FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray draw in Denmark. Though it is not an impossible outcome, the chances of everything falling into place are slim.

As a result of United's hopes of reaching the last-16 appearing to be all but over, Garnacho has apologised to the club's supporters, displaying a firm understanding of what Europe's premier club competition means to the fan base. Nevertheless, he has vowed that he and his teammates will do 'everything possible' to try and keep their European dream alive.
"Sorry United fans," Garnacho wrote on his Instagram page. "This is the Champions League and we have to be aware of it and assume responsibilities.
"There is one game left and we will do everything possible."
Though, as a collective, it was a disappointing night for United in Turkey, Garnacho did get himself on the scoresheet for the second game running, finishing off a slick United move to fire them ahead with an instinctive finish after just 11 minutes.
