Manchester City became the quickest side to reach 250 Champions League goals during their convincing 3-0 win over BSC Young Boys on Tuesday evening.
City continued a perfect start to their title defence at the Etihad, securing their place in the knockout stages with a fourth straight win in the group stages. Erling Haaland and Phil Foden put Pep Guardiola's side two up before half-time before the Norwegian striker made it three shortly after the break.
And it was the third and final goal that took City to 250 in the competition. And they also reached that milestone in record time, doing so in just 119 games.

Only 12 teams have hit the 250-goal mark in the competition's history, with Paris Saint-Germain the previous quickest. They did so in 172 games.
City became the first team to qualify for the last 16 with Tuesday's win, which was their 18th in a row across the continent. That run goes back to last season as they went all the way, beating Inter Milan in the final in Istanbul.
Tuesday's record-breaking evening was somewhat marred, however, by the setback suffered by John Stones. The defender had only recently returned from an issue but was taken off at half-time against Young Boys.
"John felt it again," Guardiola told TNT Sports. "I feel so sorry for him. It's a big loss for us. John is so important for what he does. But recover and the season is long; he will be back stronger. I think he will be out for a while."
