A gang of thieves struck in a terrifying raid at Jack Grealish's Cheshire mansion while he played for Manchester City. Members of the City winger's family were said to be in the multi-million pound property during the break-in on Wednesday night, while they watched him play in the club's 3-1 away win at Everton.
About £1 million worth of jewellery was reportedly stolen during the burglary. Cheshire Police said dogs and a helicopter were deployed but they were unable to find the thieves.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. The Premier League star moved into the property before Christmas, The Sun reported.

The paper said about ten of Grealish's family were watching the game on TV when they heard noises and dogs barking. The relatives, said to include his fiancée Sasha Attwood, reportedly pressed a panic button to summon help.
In a statement, Cheshire Police said: "At around 9.50pm on Wednesday 27 December police were called to reports of a burglary in Chelford, near Knutsford. The caller reported that a number of items had been stolen.
"Officers, supported by the police dogs and NPAS (the National Police Air Service), were deployed and searches were conducted in the local area, but there was no trace of the suspects. No arrests have been made at this time and enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 1722738."
