Former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona has been left ecstatic after shedding nearly 3 and a half stone following her lifestyle transformation. The mum-of-five celebrated a new milestone in her weight loss journey on Sunday, confirming she now weighs under 10 stone.
Sharing her excitement with her 829k Instagram followers, Kerry explained how she has dropped from weighing 13st 3lb to 9st 11lb. Posting a snap of herself standing barefoot on a set of weighing scales, the 43-year-old tagged her fitness platform in the caption and wrote: "@mfitofficial woohoo!!! From 13’3 come join me!!!!! Link in my bio @mfitofficial." Kerry has achieved her 48-pound weight loss by focusing on being more active by mixing yoga, weight training and cardio workouts into her day.
The former pop star also added two selfies showing off her transformation and exclaimed how proud she is of her achievement. Standing in front of a bathroom mirror Kerry lifted her t-shirt revealing her toned mid-rift, as she beams at the camera.
Alongside the impressive snaps, Kerry penned: "Wow, what a journey! So bloody proud of myself, and will continue travelling on this path of self-love, self-worth and most importantly, my health @mfitofficial from 13:3st to 9:11st." Although she may be enjoying a huge boost to her self-esteem after dropping four dress sizes – she’s gone from a size 16 to a size 8 – Kerry recently admitted to OK! that the real reason for her lifestyle overhaul is the benefits it brings to her mental health. "I was just in this rut of self-loathing and emotional eating," explained Kerry, who is engaged to personal trainer Ryan Mahoney.
"Something needed to change for me to feel better within myself. It was all about how I felt in my head." Kerry,
