Kerry Katona looks as though she can barely open her eyes after undergoing painful surgery on her eyes.
The model and former Atomic Kitten star has went under the knife to rid herself of "heavy" lids which she claims were "hanging over" her eyes. Images of her leaving Pall Mall Medical, where she got the procedure, show that the 43-year-old can hardly open her eyes.
The mum-of-five looked in high spirits leaving the clinic, despite scars on her eyelids being visible from her blepharoplasty surgery. Kerry revealed last year that she wanted the work done to her eyes after noticing they had started to become "heavy".
She now cannot drive for around 10 days while she recovers from the surgery she received from Mr Ullas Raghavan, who specialises in ear, nose and throat, as well as plastic surgery at Pall Mall Medical. The surgery consists of slicing open the eyelid, raising the skin and then pinning it back lift her eyes. It's expected that the bruising and redness may take several weeks to fade and the scarring could be tight for several months.
In November, Kerry said: "Right, so I've come to the conclusion I'm going to get an eye lift. I am, watch this.
They're so heavy they're hanging over my eyes. Why not, I'm 43, I'm entitled." But despite her excitement, she wrote in her OK! Magazine column she was apprehensive before going under the knife once more.
She said: "I'm s******g myself. I'm really nervous, but I'm looking forward to having it done. "I'm going to Pall Mall Medical and they've been really great, so it's exciting.
