Janey Godley provided relief for a lot of us during the coronavirus pandemic, and it's incredibly hard to believe that she created her first Nicola Sturgeon daily briefing voiceover three years ago today.
Most of us sat in front of our TV screens in March 2020 - and across the months that followed - to hear Scotland's First Minister 's daily briefings about Covid and how it was impacting the country.
It was an extremely scary time for many but Scots comedian Janey provided some lighter moments and brought smiles to many of our faces with her humour.
She began creating voiceovers of her own take of what Nicola Sturgeon was saying, which even had the First Minister herself laughing.
At the time, Nicola Sturgeon praised Janey, even though she sometimes liked to use foul language.
The First Minister said: "Janey Godley is a brilliant comedian in my view, and her voice overs are very, very funny. They are very rude in terms of the language that's used so sometimes I don't feel I can retweet them but they are very, very funny.
"The really clever thing she is doing with them right now is making people laugh but if you listen to them carefully she is getting the key messages across very, very powerfully."
She added: "And so if humour helps us to make people understand what we should be doing right now then, all well and good, so I think she's doing well on that front.
"She's been doing these voice overs for quite a while, and let me just say not all the time but occasionally I watch them and I think, yeah ... she must have an insight into what I was really thinking at that point but I wasn't able to say it and she manages to voice it in her particular style."
And today marks three years since her first one and Janey took to Twitter.
