Holly Willoughby's This Morning return date confirmed with her new co-host after 'solo' appearance

Holly Willoughby's This Morning return date has officially been confirmed - as has who will be alongside her. The presenter hasn't been seen on the programme for several weeks as she headed off to enjoy her annual summer holiday.
Her temporary break from the ITV daytime show, which happens every year, came at a challenging time for Holly as she co-hosted alongside a number of different members of the 'This Morning family' following Phillip Schofield's shock exit.
The broadcaster, who presented the programme for more than 20 years, saw his celebrated TV career shattered in May after he confessed to lying to bosses and co-star Holly about an 'unwise but not illegal' affair with a runner in his 20s. He initially 'stepped back' from the show due to reports about his off-screen relationship with Holly was in tatters before officially having to leave ITV altogether over the affair revelation.

But with a new season of ITV daytime set to begin, with the main stars returning from the breaks on the likes of Good Morning Britain and Lorraine, Holly appeared solo in an ITV promo video.
The Dancing on Ice host appeared in the clip alongside other ITV faces including Susanna Reid, Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard, Lorraine Kelly and her team and Loose Women panellists such as Ruth Langsford and Coleen Nolan. The new clip shows a smiling Holly, 42, on behalf of This Morning, which she will now front as the main presenter with guests presenters joining her across the week.
Friday hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary also feature but unlike the stars of GMB, Lorraine and Loose Women, the duo didn't appear with Holly to promote the show with
