Alison Hammond has been happy to "escape" the drama on ITV's This Morning, as she has shared a life update with her followers.
The 48 year old has not been on the daytime show this week, as she has been enjoying a break away, at a "party house" just outside of Bristol. As her "chilled" holiday comes to an end, Alison has shared some snaps and videos from her break on Instagram with her followers.
On her Instagram story, she wrote: "Had the lovely couple of days in the best party house ever. No parties for me though, just a lovely chilled time." She then went on to show off the hot tub on offer, as well as the gorgeous garden space.
Her last story was a video clip of the back of her with the sea waves lapping at her feet as she held her arms out. Alison also shared a snap of her in that position on her Instagram grid and captioned the post: "Escape!" Former Great British Bake Off contestant Laura Adlington commented on the post to say: "Enjoy babes, you deserve it!!" While someone else added: "Have a well earned break Alison." Her gorgeous break comes just over a week after Alison lost out on the Best Presenter award at the National Television Awards, as Ant and Dec walked away with the gong.
This Morning also missed out on the Daytime award for the first time in 13 years, as The Repair Shop walked away with that one.
After the glitzy awards, Alison decided to take to Instagram to reflect on the defeats as she explained that failing can be the biggest success. She told her followers: "What a night of happiness at the @officialntas with @thismorning , we had the best time.
