Eamonn Holmes has seemingly taken a jab at Holly Willoughby following This Morning losing out on the top gong at the National Television Awards on Tuesday night.
The GB News host also addressed the reported booing from the crowds when the breakfast programme, which was up for the Best Daytime Show, was mentioned at London's O2 arena.
Eamonn, who also previously presented This Morning alongside wife Ruth Langsford, discussed the loss with his co-host Isabel Webster and guests Charlie Rowley and Scarlett MccGwire on Wednesday's show.
"This Morning didn't win anything yet again," Eamonn said according to reports in the Express, before Isabel added: "They got booed apparently," as Scarlett agreed: "Yes!"
Eamonn joked: "Apparently the audience were just chanting, 'Bring back Eamonn'."
"Obviously Eamonn they are," Scarlett replied before adding: "The big story, The Sun's front page because obviously, this is the biggest story in Britain, is that Phillip Schofield has stopped following Holly Willoughby on TikTok."
"I wonder why," Eamonn interjected as his guest continued: "I mean, you know, this is the big story.
"And I mean, apparently, the This Morning people were devastated because God forbid there could be a better programme that actually won it. I don't watch either, but I hear The Repair Shop is terribly good."
Eamonn also expressed his shock at the BBC's The Repair Shop being categorized as a daytime show before he looked at the newspaper headlines.
He held up a photo of Holly from the NTA's last night and said: "Here's a pose, I thought if someone says to me, 'Can we have a picture, Eamonn' and you're on the red carpet.
"You're smiling or looking awkward or whatever it is...Holly Willoughby shows her bum."
