Eamonn Holmes was 'forced' to sell his beloved home in Belfast after losing two appeals against HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).The 64 year old TV alum shared in a yet-to-be-aired interview that tax officials had ruled that he was a staff member when working for ITV. He insists that he was a freelancer and never received any sick pay, holiday pay, or shares in companies, however, HMRC ruled that he needed to pay ten years of backdated national insurance and tax payments. This led to Eamonn being faced with a reported bill of £250,000, leaving him with no choice but to sell his property in the Belmont area of Belfast.
