A dad who lost his life saving his son after a devastating house fire can today be named as Barry Mason.
Mr Mason's four year-old son, Ethan Mason, is fighting for his life in hospital in a medically-induced coma after being pulled from the blaze by his father.
The boy's family said Barry had 'ran back inside to save his little boy' after the fire in the early hours of Sunday on Warrington Road, Wigan.

Bolton Coroner's Court confirmed today Barry Mason's death has been referred to the coroner ahead of an inquest opening. Four others were also injured in the horror blaze. No age for Mr Mason has been revealed.
Fire investigation teams and police officers remained at the scene of the fire on Monday (April 15) as investigations continued.
