Former Manchester United star Javier Hernandez has signed for a new club after leaving LA Galaxy.
Hernandez left the Major League Soccer club back in November after his contract with Galaxy expired. The former club captain played his last game for Los Angeles in June against Real Salt Lake, where he sustained a season-ending ACL injury.
The striker had spent four years in the MLS before leaving the club. Hernandez has now returned to where he began his professional career by signing for Mexican club Chivas.

However, it was announced on Wednesday that Hernandez would be signing for Chivas on a free transfer. The forward, who has been recovering from the ACL injury he sustained last June, confirmed the news on social media. He said: "My house, my family, my team, my everything. See you soon!"
While a press release from the Liga MX club read: "ChivaBrothers, it's official! Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández returns to the team of his Amores for the Clausura 2024.
"We are convinced that his love for the Institution, the experience acquired during his successful career and the leadership that characterizes him will be reflected in this new stage with Chivas."
United signed Hernandez from Chivas back in 2010 and went on to score 59 goals in 157 appearances for the club. The striker left Old Trafford in 2015 to join Bayer Leverkusen, following a loan spell with Real Madrid.
Hernandez then enjoyed spells with Leverkusen, West Ham United and Sevilla before eventually joining LA Galaxy in 2020.
